Our Personal
Tutoring Program
As class sizes and course curriculums continue to grow, students are being left behind at an alarming rate. Students are not able to fully “master” concepts due to a lack of practice and time. This leads to a shaky academic foundation for students that can have detrimental effects as students’ progress to more challenging courses.
Jan(A+)e Tutoring aims to change that with our 3-step learning model to promote mastery learning in and outside of the classroom: connect, support, master.
In our personal tutoring program, students are matched with the perfect tutor for their course. Our tutors' unique ability to connect with students helps our clients obtain success using strategies and techniques that they can understand. Outside of tutoring, our students have access to around the clock support from their tutor who can provide homework help, explanations, and additional test questions. When necessary, our tutors will also assign daily practice problems to strengthen a student's understanding of their course topics even after the class has moved on.
